YeY, Loosing my mind just to get to this step…..let me explain

After many days trying to figure out how to put in a specific version of WordPress (2.6.3) on my website’s host I finally gave up and just installed the newest version that my web host provided.

After long hours of sitting on the computer and going nowhere, I simply gave in.

I looked through so many pages, videos on how to do it and I just simply gave up, but…I still believe that one day I’ll be able to conquer this thing. For now I’ll follow the simple way.

I sat actually in front of my computer yesterday and cried, really. Should it really be this hard to input a simple application using FileZilla.

They all say it’s so easy, just move this here, transfer this here, change the wording here…..I did, I did, I did and got what?….a big fat…

“error” on my webpage

I did all that they showed me,

followed each step to a “t” and all I got was nothing, no no no, not nothing a big fat ERROR message on my site…yes sweet right

No one explain why each needs to be in a certain place. Really it would have helped if they explained what each of the important files means….

Apparently it was something to do with my sever’s file distribution into the root menu where I just can’t download anything into, because of the type of hosting that I have chosen….

Hopefully now I will be able move forward and just change the theme, input some fun Plugins, and go on with my content.

Yes content, that is now what I have to work on….

Sorry to go on…..but I honestly almost lost it yesterday….anyhow now to the fun part of using WordPress….content creation….have to choose right theme…

So many to choose from….

Question to you:

Has anyone had the same problem….

5 minute install…..yup right, it was more like 5 days for me….sorry moving forward….

Please comment below

Talk to you soon,

Eva K.
